Lee Evans will get out of new material for audiences

Comedian Lee Evans will get out of new material for audiences this summer trying Regent Theatre. On August 2-4 show the development to go ahead with special UK and Ireland this autumn visit to this area come Roadrunner.

In 2005 he broke the world record for a solo act when he performed to 10,108 at the Manchester Evening News Arena. His Big Tour in 2008 saw him appear in front of more than half-a-million people at 59 arenas.

David Mansfield, general manager of the Regent, said: “This is fantastic news, that we’ve secured three shows. Lee is hugely popular in Ipswich and we are very much looking forward to him returning to the theatre.”

Tickets go on sale at 9.30am Monday.

Comedy star Lee Evan will be perform as a warm up to his forthcoming arena tour

Comedy star Lee Evans will be perform as a warm up to his forthcoming arena tour at Royal & Derngate on next month.

On Thursday 30 June 10am gig tickets for sale in today's theater friends to plan members in the beginning was the reason. Reservations for the general public will be open from Friday.

A Derngate spokesman said: “This will be a fantastic opportunity for Northampton audiences to see this comic genius at work up close before he sets out on tour. Tickets are expected to sell quickly.”

Tickets for the gig are priced £28.50 (£27.50 for Friends).
